-Hardwood received his name 1/2 in part because he's a Tree Shaker son, but mostly because of the family business, Cole Hardwood, of where we purchased him from.
-Hardwood's littermates cleaned house: Littermate brother was the Champion Tamworth Barrow at the Littermate sister was 4th Overall Tamworth Gilt at NJSS, a littermate brother was Champion Tamworth and 4th Overall at Clinton County, and another littermate was Champion Tamworth and 4th Overall in WI.
-Kyle had seen this boar as a baby and told me that he was unbelievable, so I knew that I needed to see him as he matured and man did he match up right.
-Stout boned
-Bold center body and great curvature to his upper rib shape
-He comes and goes wide at the ground.
-Hardwood can carry his mass and power so well on the move
-We are very excited about Hardwood and see him as being the next big thing!
