It seems like many times in this business, few things are unanimous. There is always one that someone liked better than the judge that day. For As long as we have been doing this, I can think of just a handful of animals that won for fun, Where no one could argue. One of those was “Chubs” the 2021 Grand Barrow at the Indiana State Fair shown by the Martin Family and raised by our friends at Goss Livestock. Last spring when GL offered a litter out of “Chubs” mom sired by Soul (a rusty cage son), we knew we needed one. We bought “Run it Back” out of Bobell’s live sale and couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase. Run It Backs length to height ratio is ideal. He offers true show barrow spread up high and comes with added skeleton at the ground. He is proud about his head carriage and has a tremendous appetite. We think “Run it Back” can make first generation moves on females that need to be shorter bodied and pulled apart east and west. The power is in the blood, and there’s not another option alive that is as closely related to to the infamous Chubs as “Run it Back!”
