TAKE A HIKE comes from a very deep litter where all three sister were retained for us to use for foundation type sows. His dam would have been the 4th overall cross female at the Indiana State Fair in 2019. His granddam would be a sow that generates time in and time out as her last litter she made the popular Scarborough gilt that had a very strong show career here in Indiana this past summer. TAKE A HIKE is hard to build in combining squareness with shape, while combining a wild look. TAKE A HIKE is a sound built hog with a really good balance from the side with a long level muscle pattern. We like this hog a great deal and thinks he makes this breed better.
